On Sundays, I love to sleep in and throw some food in the crockpot for dinner. A few weeks ago, I tried Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup. I started on the chicken and grabbing all the ingredients and when Mike woke up, he chopped up the onions, carrots, and celery. This was a good soup, however, I don't feel like it was super creamy. Also, I misread the amounts and we put in way more carrots and celery than required, but it was still good. It made plenty of leftovers, which is a definite requirement of Sunday Soups. Its starting to get warmer here so my soup days are numbered, but this is one I will be trying again in the fall.
