A few weeks ago, before I got sick, I felt the need to bake. I don't do it as often because we can't or shouldn't eat a whole batch. Every once in a while, I just like to have something sweet in the house. After dinner, I got my ingredients ready to make Salted Caramel Blondies. I always love the combination of sweet and salty so I thought this would be perfect for me. I also thought maybe Mike could take the leftovers to work. The recipe was fairly easy to make and was definitely tasty. The thing that took the longest was melting the caramels. We let them cool completely and then drizzled them with a little bit of caramel syrup. They were so good and they were just gooey enough that they probably wouldn't travel well, so we had to keep them all at home. These would also be delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
