A Pin a Day: Pizza Bread
During Lent, I work hard to make sure that Mike doesn't eat meat on Fridays. However, eating tortellini every Friday gets old after a while. Last Friday, we tried a recipe for Pizza Bread. It was super easy and pretty tasty too. I only did one loaf of bread since it was just the two of us and that was still more than enough. I just used pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese since that's what we had around the house, but you could definitely do a variety of toppings. I also only heated my oven to about 425 because I thought the recipe's oven temperature seemed a little bit high. I paired the pizza bread with salad and it was a nice, light meal. This definitely gives us another option during Lent.
