Not all Pinterest recipes are fabulous, some are just meh. Yesterday, I made one of those meh recipes, Crockpot Tortellini Sausage. I wanted a crockpot recipe that would be done when I picked up Mike from work. My first mistake was waiting until 4 pm to start cooking it. We got home at 6:30 and it still needed time to cook. At 8 pm, we were really hungry and decided to eat. It ended up being more like a soup than a creamy pasta dish. The flavor was okay, but the consistency just wasn't that great. We will eat the leftovers, but will not be trying this one again. Perhaps, it could cook longer to thicken the sauce, but then the tortellini might be overcooked. I'm not super disappointed though and look forward to the next new meal we try later this week.
