It was a Tuesday afternoon and Mike was at work, so I decided to get my bake on. I found a recipe for Cranberry Orange Cookies. I thought it would be a nice choice for us to try this recipe and I have never made one like it before. I bought dried cranberries and chopped them up, but you could probably use fresh ones as well. As I was mixing, I decided to throw in 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips as well. I really liked that the recipe called for them to be rolled in an orange infused sugar before baking. They were really good and I made them in a small bite size so they wouldn't be too filling. My only complaint on these might be that they dried out quicker than I would have liked, so I need to share them with friends next time to avoid that problem.
