This has been a busy week, so I’ve gotten a bit behind in blogging about the food we’ve made this week. One day this week, we tried the Tangy Down Home Pork Chops with Mashed Potatoes. I started by cooking the mashed potatoes in a medium pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes. In a separate skillet, I eat up oil over medium high heat. I browned the pork chops for 3 minutes on each side and turned down the heat. Next, I added in the apple mix, boiled it, covered and simmered for 15 minutes. I served the mashed potatoes and pork chops with the apples on top. In addition, I made a side of steamed broccoli to help round out the meal. This was a delicious meal. The pork chops were cooked perfectly and the apples were a great topping for them and the potatoes. I am so happy that I have another tasty Dream Dinners meal under my belt.
