Tacos and More

Wednesdays are trivia night at Whitestone and its also usually the day Mike heads to the office.  For dinner, I usually plan a crockpot meal, leftovers, or we see if there's at food truck at Whitestone.  Wednesday was also the first time we left Lola home alone, so it was a big night for everyone.  I saw that Tacon Maye was the featured food truck that evening and Trish, one of our favorite beer tenders, told us how great the food was, so we decided to give it a try.  Our friends, Jake and Ben, recommended the buffalo chicken quesadilla, and I was excited to check it out.

There were several taco and quesadilla options, along with options for chips and homemade salsa.  I ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla.  Mike selected the Quesadilla Al Pastor and we ordered chips and salsa to share.  We waited a few minutes for them to make our food and we were ready to enjoy.

The food was amazing! My buffalo chicken quesadilla had great flavor and the crunchy addition of tortilla chips was great.  Mike's Quesadilla was great too.  The sauces and salsas all had wonderful seasonings and a bit of a kick to it.  The food was excellent, the people were nice, and the price was great, too!  We loved the food and look forward to trying more items next time they are at Whitestone.
