Last week, a bunch of people from work went out for our friend, Javon's, 21st birthday celebration. We opted to try a new spot in the Rock Rose portion of the Domain called Lavaca Street Bar. The original Lavaca Street Bar is in downtown Austin, but the Domain is a lot closer for us Round Rock folks. The bar had a sporty vibe with lots of TVs playing the Lakers game. There were pool tables and seating both inside and outdoors. We arrived in small groups with most of us arriving before the guest of honor. We were eventually able to snag a big table and enjoy our celebration. We brought cupcakes and confetti for the celebration and got to enjoy some beverages and yummy foods. I enjoyed a few Porter Cultures from Hops and Grains along with splitting an order of the amazing steak nachos from Turf N' Surf. The nachos were fabulous and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff at the bar was really accommodating, too, even allowing an underage friend to join our celebration. Overall, a great time was had by all and I will definitely be back for those steak nachos.
