In the midst of my sickness, I grew tired of leftovers and food from quick restaurants by our house. I discovered this recipe for Slow Cooker Brown Sugar and Garlic Chicken and realized it would be a quick fix for dinner. It was really easy to mix up the sauce and throw it in the crock pot with the chicken. I let it cook about 6 hours. I made basmati rice and cut up some green onions to go with it. It was really tasty, despite my lack of appetite, I ate it up quickly. It also made for great leftovers. It's always nice to have a couple of great "sick day" recipes on hand and this one did not disappoint.
